I came across this book and decided on a quick read between other reads and was surprised how much I enjoyed it. This is not your typical urban story.Once I started didn't put down until I finished .A good kid forced into a gang and how he take care of his baby sister and brother.Determined to do anything keep his younger brother from leading the life he was forced into.Read the book you will enjoy it.Some twists keep you turning pages with an unexpected ending.Product details

It was ok not exactly what I expected but would read others books by author. What are other book written by author?
The characters are far from perfect -- often with deeply flawed personalities -- but nonetheless, you care about what happens to them. I'm looking forward to whatever comes next from this author.
Quick read. It ended kind of weird but it was still enjoyable. I will be on the look out for more from this author.
This was a okay book I understand that Rodney had to help his family,but I confused about the curse of Cain, who was Cain?
And what did it mean that they was headed for Vermont? But all in all was okay book
Wasn't what I expected at all. The story was to rushed and the name of the book doesn't fit in well at all. Sigh what a waste
I really enjoyed reading this short story. I did want more it held my attention the whole time and I can say this, I really do believe this goes on in the gangs. They want you to believe that they are all hard but the truth is they are sweeter then honey with sugar added to it... I do believe its some truth behind this story. This is how and why alot of our sisters are getting infected by they so called hard core gangest boyfriends... Sad situation...
